Exell Power Services has served the industrial electrical power utilization and generation industries from our facility in Surrey, B.C. With our diverse staff having extensive practical experience with electrical distribution systems, apparatus and related equipment, we are able to service our customers 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Exell Power Services will customize Indoor and Outdoor, low, medium and high voltage including metal clad switchgear for your requirements. All design and manufacturing is completed in-house, including custom bus bar fabrication. We can build to suit or utilize existing design templates, either option will interface with existing equipment. Components are open sourced to suit each client’s particular requirements.
Exell Power Services can provide specialty switchgear for applications such as on-site power generation and control or an expansion of any existing switchgear.

Industrial – No industry can endure unstable power. Exell Power will provide for you the custom switchgear which minimizes downtime and can assist maximize profit. Existing switchgear can be upgraded or replaced to bring your site’s power system up to date and keep it on line.
Commercial –
Marine – Commercial and government facilities often require very unique switchgear designs to ensure stability of power. Many of the government facilities have received the first high power switchgear designed, and because of this, must be cautiously studied before any changes are made. Exell Power Services has a strong history in working with the Canadian Federal and B.C. Provincial governments in very diverse environments and has learned from this involvement.
Institutional – A common location for specialty switchgear design. Requirement for stable power 24 hours is vitally important. During the summer months, such systems, when coupled with on-site generation, can be used to lower power costs. Exell Power can work with you the customer to ensure your custom power needs are assured.
Equipment Upgrades & Breaker Conversions
Exell Power Services Ltd. offers a complete package to upgrade your protection scheme, from the Engineering to the Commissioning, and testing of any protection system. Upgrading your electrical equipment to meet the current safety codes and standards is a cost-effective way of extending the life span of ageing machinery/equipment, reducing any potential liability, and lowering the existing infrastructure’s environmental impact. Exell Power Services’ Field Service Reps will assess existing equipment on site.

We supply new, surplus and remanufactured low and medium voltage circuit breakers of all types, and all manufacturers. Life extension projects are our specialty; and in our modern shop facility, our technicians can repair, recondition or upgrade your breakers. On-site service is also available. We have on hand numerous spare parts available for immediate shipment.
Retrofits can cost as much as 50% less than the price of new equipment, and installation downtime is significantly reduced while safety is maximized.

Witness Testing
Exell Power Services provides Acceptance Testing/Witness Testing on all Manufacturers Equipment. Third-party independent testing to assure specification compliance; Certified ground fault performance testing agency; Healthcare facility testing.

Exell Power Services has replacements parts, and can provide you with anything from a circuit breaker charging spring, to a complete unit substation. Whether your requirement is for a new, surplus or remanufactured part, let us assist you.
